Sales Manager

Responsibility
Manages an assigned territory/ies to exceed sales targets, increase market share and meet AAP objectives:
· Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
· Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all products, services and technology.
· Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff's productivity.
· Directs professional account management activities.
· Coordinates proper AAP resources to ensure efficient and stable sales.
Manages and develops sales team:
· Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, coaches, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.).
· Educates sales unit in terms of sales tactics.
· Evaluates effectiveness of Sales Team; recommends necessary changes.
Establishes and manages effective programs and seminars to address the following issues:
· New account sales and growth to base through sales force.
· Sales of emerging products and multi-product sales.
· Improved seminar presentations.
· Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaign.
· Proper use and level of sales support.
· Management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level.
· Business/financial issues on contracts.
· Performs sales activities on major accounts.
Knowledge
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing or an equivalent training in business or sales management
· Requires seven or more years of experience in product sales in the electronic component or high technology sector with at least two years of experience in sales management.
· (Experienced applicants will be considered as Senior Sales Manager)
· Excellent knowledge of semiconductor’s products, services, technology and supply chain solutions
